This month the Alumni Leaders have been issued a tough challenge!

As part of a branding exercise, the BCHFS Board, Regional Coordinators, Alumni Council, and Staff have each been asked to write down their “Elevator Pitch” for Heritage Fairs.

An elevator pitch is a short summary used to quickly and simply define a person, profession, product, service, organization or event. The name “elevator pitch” reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds. The term itself comes from a scenario of an accidental meeting with someone important in the elevator: if the conversation inside the elevator in those few seconds is interesting and valuable, your conversation will continue after the elevator ride.

By our next meeting in January each student will have to submit their description of Heritage Fairs in 3 sentences/ 30 seconds or less! If you only had 30 seconds could you define Heritage Fairs and all the benefits they bring?! ONE…TWO…THREE… GO!
